General Motors builds four of the six finalists for this year's North American Car of the Year and Truck of the Year awards.
A panel of nearly 50 international jurors representing outlets from across Canada and the USA selected the Cadillac CTS, Chevrolet Malibu and Honda Accord as finalists in the car category, while the Buick Enclave, Mazda CX-9 and Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid top the North American truck of the year contenders.

The unique, widespread and international selection of jurors delegates to recognize the most outstanding vehicles based on factors like innovation, safety, handling, driver satisfaction and value for the dollar.
General Motors has already brought home four trophies from the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) for the Saturn Astra, Chevrolet Silverado, Buick Enclave and Saturn VUE. Honda took home top marks for their new Accord in the Canadian market as well.
North American Car and Truck of the year winners will be announced on January 13th from the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
